Are you talking about an aftermarket button / switch?

I am new to this one.

yes it is an aftermarket piece, you push the button and the vehicle will start.

I thought that's what you were talking about. Never heard of doing this with factory wiring for any Xterra or Frontier. I can't help you on this one. Sorry...

My wife's Xterra is the same way. There is a little pocket that you can put junk in but it just looks empty. Is that what you're talking about? It's just left of the gear shifter right?

If so, I can't really think of anything. It all depends on what your into I guess. If you don't need switches for auxillary lights, or whatever, it's kind of hard to make suggestions. I'm more of an offroad and outdoors guy so I would be thinking of something from that direction. If your into street or stereo type stuff, come up with something from that direction.

Hope this helps. :)
