Question Signal Lights not working

On Sunday, I replaced the stereo in my 2004 Xterra. In doing so, I had to disconnect the Emergency Flasher button and the power port. I checked all the fuses and none are blown. I tried a new flasher relay and it did not correct the problem. I even checked to make sure that the Emergency Button was attached and it was connected. I will go back and re-check the connection and look for broken wires. Any suggestions? I will monitor this site until we resolve this problem.

Thanks,
Stephen

Default I fixed it.

I did a rookie mistake. I bent one of the tabs on the Emergency Button switch. All I had to do was gently straighten the tab and after reconnecting the wiring harness, everything worked. I posted this in case someone else made a rookie mistake.

Thanks for the insights. I don't have a problem with my signal lights but I'll be doing lights replacement this weekend. I ordered LED lights at 4WheelOnline. This would be my second time installing new lights on my own. I had a wiring problem before but I learned from my mistake.
