Default 01 xterra stuttering on acceleration

Hi everyone this is my first port in a Nissan forum. I have read around 1000 threads it seems over the last week in this forum and I am at a loss and I need help.

I bought a 2001 Nissan Xterra 3.3 for my sons first car. 160,xxx miles and when we test drove we didnt notice any serious issues. Until we bought it and were driving it home. Randomly at around 2000 rpm the car starts shaking. You can shift to neutral and right back and it stops the shaking and runs perfectly fine. I got on this forum and many others and finally found a few threads that suggested the cam positioning sensor. SO I bought a new Distributor online and installed. Couldnt get spark. Trouble shot for three days and finally went to Oreily Auto Parts and bought the much more expensive one from them and installed it. Fired right up and I set the timing. When I set the timing I let motor come to temp, and disconnected the TPS then set timing. We took for a test drive and no shaking at all. My son drove it to work and back and no issues. We did notice when the vehicle would go from first to second gear ( AT ) it seemed a little hard, but not to bad.

The next day I was asking him how it was driving and he said no jerking and he was so excited. So was I . I bought him some Spark plugs to change out and some other minor things like Tranny fluid to top off and stuff like that. I opened the hood while at the parts store to check tranny fluid and add, then I noticed that we never reconnected the TPS connectors. So I reconnected them and we drove home. Immediately we get the stuttering and shaking at around 2000rpms. Shift into neutral and back to drive and it stops.

So my codes that I pulled from my own OBDII are as follows:
P0460
P0325
P0340

Surely the Cam positioning sensor cant be bad in another new distributor?

Why would disconnecting the TPS stop the stuttering?

Thanks and any help is appreciated.
