Replacing rear shocks
I bought new rear shocks for my '07 Xterra and cannot budge the nuts loose for love nor money. PB Blaster was of no help. I bent a box end wrench trying to looses a nut on the lower end.
Anybody know if there's something going on other than crud? The car has 80k miles, on road (2 wheel drive). The bolts do not look corroded or buggered up or loaded up with road crud. But neither nut nor bolt will so much as turn a degree. |

There is nothing special to remove the nut. Never had a problem with that nut, but then again I usually use air tools to remove suspension parts. You may just have to try with bigger tools, you could barrow a large wrench from the auto parts.

Try carefully heating it up with a torch.
