2000 nissan xterra 3.3 fuel in oil
my oil pan is full of fuel and I think the number 4 cylinder isn't firing at all, it runs but misses pretty bad and can smell raw fuel at the exhaust, has anyone seen this any suggestions. Please Help, I am stumped. Initially it doesnt have any codes after clearing, but after you drive it throws flashing check engine light and generic misfire codes

If there is fuel on the oil pan and the cylinder #4 is misfiring, then more than likely the #4 injector is stuck open. You could try running some fuel additives or perform an injector flush, but you probably have to replaced the injector to fix the problem.

Also, make sure the vacuum hose didn't become disconnected going to the fuel pressure regulator on the back side of the engine. Check fuel pressure with a fuel pressure gauge.
