Default DTCs P0720,P1754 and P0300

I use an 05 Xterra . The last scan results showed P0720 and P1754 and P0300.While I understand the meaning of the codes, I'd like that you advise me on what I need to tell my local mechanic on how to solve the problems. The car does not drive very well and does not shift well, if at all. I have been advised to changew the TCM /Tranmission Valve Body , but I need to be sure before I make payments , as it is quite expensive .

I will appreciate your candid advice.

Default

The are two problem with your vehicle one that is triggering the the P1754 and P0720 codes and the other one for the P0300 code.

There are many things that can cause the P0300 code, but you could start by changing the spark plugs.

For the P1754 code you could start by changing the transmission fluid. if the problem persist you may have to replaced the transmission valve body, as suggested by the factory on this bulletin: 2005 Nissan Xterra Service Bulletins - Nissanhelp.com
