Default Information overload!!p0328,O2 sen,fuel mi.

Ok,the machine 02 xterra SE S/C 135,000.Purchased used.Took a trip
recently and averaged 13.5mpg highway.Last year I went to Virginia and
averaged 19mpg.Looks like tune up has been done withen last 20k.Plugs
look decent and wires too.Replaced fuel filter last summer.Installed new
tires(OE size)a month ago.No SES lights on,but do have the p0328 k/s
code.Have read alot of threads about 02 sensors taking out k/s and vise
versa.Would k/s effect fuel mileage?Would O2 effect k/s?With the current
mileage on the vehicle I would like to replace the two upstream o2s,or should
I replace all four?Is the k/s located under center of intake like naturally
aspirated engines?Should I try the air/fuel relearn procedure?Would a sticky
thermostat also effect fuel mileage by keeping it in closed loop?I also notice
when pulling a hill,hard accel,with sunroof open,there is a bad co2 smell or
partially plugged cat?Is this normal for s/c equiped vehicles?

Thank you,Fullbore

Not really, it depends how you drive.

No, I never seen or heard a bad O2 sensor causing the knock sensor to fail.

Start with the two front sensors.

Lots of more questions. Will be back on another time.
