Default P0420 and P0430 after Timing Belt Change

Just had my timing belt changed at the dealer before I could get home (about 5 Miles) the Service Engine Soon Light came on. When back to the dealer. They told me I needed two new cats and a knock sensor ($3500) and that it was pure coincidence and could not possibly have anything to do with the timing belt change. I'm getting the following codes. P0420, P0430, P0328.

Is the dealer right that it has no connection to the timing belt change? It seems odd that it would happen right after.

What could they have done that is giving false codes? or what could they have done that blew out both cats?

Please Help.

I would say coincidence. They don't have to go anywhere near the cats to replace the timing belt.

I have had the same problem. Just got my timing belt changed and now have P0430 and P0328. The dealer says they are unrelated but I don't buy it. Now my idle is off and my fronty has almost stalled a couple of times.

Did you ever figure out what was the problem?

Is it supercharged? A little before my x needed a timing belt change, it threw the code for knock sensor on my supercharger... is that the knock sensor they are talking about, or is it the engine knock sensor?
