I ended up getting a set of Hercules Avalanche X-Treme. $101/tire. Seem like a pretty beasty tire compared to other ones I looked at. Haven't tried them out yet though.

I am not familiar with the said brand. Currently, I am running a set of Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3. It is the first time I have used it and so far I am satisfied with its performance. I recommend visiting 4wheelonline if you need winter tires.
