Default Valve Stem Cap Stuck

I replaced two of the plastic OE valve caps with metallic ones that had a key to remove the Schrader valve inside the valve stem. Bad idea, they corroded in place and have been difficult to remove. By alternately pouring boiling water on them, then penetrating oil and using a pliers, one has been removed and the second is statrting to move. Be patient to protect the pressure sensors inside the tire.
The local tire shop refused to touch them claiming they might break and result in a hundred dollar bill per stem.
