2012 Versa low coolant temperature light?
Hi all,
I'm new here. Thanks for operating such a great forum! My wife just bought a brand new 2012 Nissan Versa. Great car, but I have a question. There is supposed to be a blue low coolant temperature light coming on when the ignition is on and while the engine is cold. But there is no such light coming on at all. There is the red hot engine coolant light that goes off right after the car is started. So I guess we have to bring it back to the dealership to get that blue temperature light checked out? thanks for your help! Herb |

Thank you for your answer. This is very interesting. So how should somebody see if there is a problem with the thermostat? I find this very concerning. First manufacturers get rid of a proper temperature gauge by putting in two lights (one for cold, one for hot) and then they leave away even those basic lights?
Is there a way to find out what Versas have this light and which ones don't? Thanks! Herb |
