Does the light on the sonar switch come on when the truck is started?

For the Nissan Quest Owners with this problem, I have a 2005 Quest and this is what worked for me:
1.) Turn the key to "on"
2.) immediately (within one second) push the on off exactly 20 times.
The light will then go out briefly and then will blink once for each entry in the error log.

3.) Push the button once, and the light will then begin to flash the oldest logged error code in first digit - last digit format. (Titan is right ... You must push the button before the light repeats th 5 times or it will exit diagnostic mode). Titan said the beeper will beep along with the light but you can't count on that ... in my case the error code told me the buzzer was bad ... hence it couldn't buzz.

My Light Flashed with this sequence: Flash Flash pause Flash, this told me the number of the error was 21 and corresponds to the speaker for the sonar system being bad and needed to be replaced. I am still researching the location of the sonar speaker and will post again when I find it. If anyone knows he location of the speaker on the Quest please post. Thanks, hope this helps.

Here is the list of code:
codes:
11 outer left
12 inner left
13 inner right
14 outer right
21 sonar buzzer problem
22 sonar indicator problem
23 switch problem
24 control unit problem

Your post was very helpful in finding the issue. Did you find the location of the beeper? I have 06 quest with code 21.

Default Part Number

Here is the buzzer assy. Part# 25640-7S200

BUZZER ASM :: Nissan Parts, NISMO and Nissan Accessories - Courtesyparts.com

$45 here and fixed my issue, I was having the same difficulties, a light on with nothing else happening. Thanks for the assistance.

Additioanlly, the Radio Shack one was not even loud enough to hear over my exaust, but thanks for the recommendation, I did try it. At Nissian this part is about $70 or more. So $45 is not bad.

Hope this helps.

Default Where's the buzzer

So I just purchased an 05 Quest with the backup sensor broken. Because of this, I have never heard it, or have any idea where it's located.

Can anyone help?

*Edit*

Nevermind, found it....

Angry backup sensor malfunctioning

I own a 2015 Frontier truck.
After about 2 weeks I noticed the backup sensor malfunctioning. I returned to the deal and the tech sated he found no problem.
Well, the problem is still happening!
Sometimes the sensor does not sound at all; sometimes it sounds when I am a long distance from something.
This should not be happening with a brand new vehicle!! I am not happy.
I plan on bringing up the problem again when I go for my next oil change. If they still don't find a problem, what can I do??
Any suggestions?
