Looking For Install Instructions Titan Boxes
I bought a set of Titan Boxes for my 16 Titan XD. There was no instructions with them and the first thing I noticed was the need for a "rivnut" tool which I didn't expect. I have the rivnuts installed and am now ready to install the boxes. I have the utilitrac system and it seems that this may interfere with the new boxes. Is there trimming required to fit these? Does anyone have the install instructions available?
I can't take it to a Nissan dealer because the nearest one is 1400kms away. |

Try this one.https://www.nissan-techinfo.com/asistgc_1/USENG/diskdocs/1/V/F/1VF37.PDF If it doesn't work the website is nissan-techinfo.com. after you select the country the link will be on the right side of the page for accessory installation instructions. The truck boxes will be on page 4 of exterior accessories. |

I just installed the Titan boxes and wanted to update the thread. The Nissan Publications is definitely good to know about but it doesn't accurately reflect what is required to this particular job. It states to "Angle top of bin assembly and slide in so upper tabs are positioned behind Utili-trac rail". This is not possible. The two rails need to be completely removed then the six center holes need to be drilled (thru the Titan Box) to re-install the Utili-trac.
I just wanted to list this for anyone wanting to install a set of these into a truck with the Utili-trac. Also required is a rivnut tool capable of installing M8 and M6 rivnuts. |
