Default Location of Fuse or Relay For Trailer Running Lights

Location of Fuse/Relay For Trailer Running Lights

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Wondering if anyone can help me with a fuse/relay location question for my 05 Titan SE 4x4. I have obviously blown a fuse or relay that powers the trailer running lights. There was power at the 4 pin plug but now it's gone when I hooked up trailer. Brakes & turn signal lights do work. Can't seem to locate the running light fuse or relay.

Any help will be appreciated!

I had the same trouble. Under the hood Left side back under the cowl is a
square box[6 inches square] It lifts straight up. Inside are two rows of mini fuses,The bottom row left is a 10 amp fuse That should be it. On my '07 the cover has the listing of each .I think it was "trailer ".Didnt know listing was in cover until i pulled each one .It had to be the last one. Putting the cover back i found the listing. Hope this helps

Does the truck have a factory or aftermarket hitch? The factory one comes with 2 relays that you need to install for the running lights to work. If you have an aftermarket hitch you will need to buy the relays.

I looked under the hood but couldn't find the box. What is it under? Power brake module? Steering linkage?

2008 Nissan Frontier 4X4. There is a factory trailer harness installed. I checked the 3 different fuse boxes and found nothing. Unable to find inline fuse box. A little frustrating. It seems that the running lights is an issue with the Nissan in general.

I've run into this on an armada, the relay ended up being under the dash on the drivers side.. You can remove the lower dash panel... But without being at work and looking through ASIST I'm not 100% sure

I realize I'm about a year late to this party, but I just troubleshot this problem on my 2016 Titan XD diesel. The fuse is located in the fusebox under the hood, in the back on the passenger side. Here's a picture. The red probe is pointing to the 10a fuse:
