High Long Term Fuel Trim for 2000 Sentra GXE
The long term fuel trims (LTFT) on my 2000 Sentra GXE (1.8 Ltr) are at +17 for both banks. Six months ago they were just +14. I am concerned that if they hit the +25 mark the SES light will come on. I checked the fuel pressure and is 39 psi (should be 34psi according to the manual). Performance is excellent and getting 38 mpg on the highway. I am concerned that if they go too high it will ruin the cat. Anybody have any ideas?? Will high LTFT values ruin my cat? How high is too high? What could be the problem? (I cleaned the MAF and replaced air filter). Short term fuel trims average zero on both banks. Ideas?
