'08 Sentra newbie questions
Hello fellow sentra owners!
Could anyone briefly explain how the low tire pressure warning works? Could it be more microchip technology implanted in the tire valve stems? I found a video on youtube from Jatco that gives a visual of the CVT transmission operating. It appears to me that the term "continuously Variable" may actually mean an 14 or 16 individual speeds or steps that are selected by the trans computer. So my question is: Do the sheaves adjust in specific steps or is the adjustment really a fluid motion and continuous as the description suggests? I purchased the repair manuals but they have not yet arrived. I am hoping that the manuals can give me a better idea how this modern little car works. Any and all advice welcome.
