1996 Sentra dies at low rpms
I think I've tried everything! Plugs, battery, fuel filter, connections, mass air flow sensor, oxygen sensors, idle, on and on. the engine will purr like a kitten then when I take it out on the road it will suddenly die when at lower idle speeds like 850 to 1000 rpms. I sputters and dies. I've tried to adjust idle to no avail. please suggest next course of action.

Have you checked our bulletins yet? We get this complaint pretty often.

I see that this is an old thread but I will revive it if possible. My '96 drives very well but stalls at a stop with the clutch in. If I have on the A/C it won't do it. I've cleaned the IAC and checked the usual, plugs, wires, dist., air filter etc. Any suggestions? Thank you, Sac.
