Brake vibration
Hi,
I recently got my first Nissan, a 2015 Sentra. I replaced the front brake pads and for a few weeks they were fine, but now there's a subtle vibration/rumble when braking. I can feel it with my foot on the brake pedal, and hear it a bit too - sounds like a light grinding. It happens when braking at any speed, it hasn't gotten worse over the past few weeks, and I don't feel it in the steering wheel. I opened things back up and the brake pads look fine (they're cheapos from Autozone), and to the naked eye, the rotors look fine too.
Any ideas what this could be, or what I could do to better diagnose the problem? Everything I'm finding in the forum and online talks about more severe issues or other symptoms (squealing sound, steering wheel shaking, etc.). I'm not super experienced but I changed brake pads on my previous car, a Honda, a half dozen times without issues. Thanks so much for any tips!
