Brake light on, Switch is good
I have a question for the more knowledgeable on here. 98 200sx has been setting for about 8 years. I found my brake lights are stuck on. Manually worked the switch and it is working. It appears that on the brake assembly that there is a hole where it should be pushing the switch plunger in. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? Should there be something in that hole that is missing?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think this is the part number you need. Nissan Part No.: 46543-Q0400. If possible, I recommend getting the part from the dealer, just to make sure you get the correct one.

Thank you very much. I got it all working temporarily with some push pins for ATVs. I do intend on getting the correct parts though. Thanks again.

It's called a "stopper-rubber." On the brake pedal, it's Nissan # 46584-S0100. It's not the part shown above, which goes on the clutch pedal.
