2002 Sentra AC issues
If anyone could help I would sure appreciate it! My daughter bought a 2002 Sentra about six months ago. I'm trying to fix as many issues as I can for her. I noticed when I depress the ac re-circulate button I don't here a change in the air flow coming from the vents. Also I smell outside odors like the fresh air flap is still open instead of being closed. The AC air temperature is not as cold as it should be because I think the fresh air flap door is not closing when I depress the re-circulate button. Could anyone point me in the right direction or tell me where the flap is located and how I can close it? Thanks for your help!

Unfortunately accessing the intake door is not easy since the door is on top of the evaporator box. What you can do is try checking the intake door lever. You can turn the recycling button ON and OFF while checking the level to see if moves. The lever is by the gas pedal.

The latest news on my daughter's car. When I depressed the re-circulate button nothing moved on the left side of the box. I also checked to see if air was being sucked in through the outside vent access near the driver's side wiper blade and it was.
