Lightbulb trunk locked nissan sentra 2006

The car keys accidentally fell into the trunk and it got locked.
  • the trunk release in the dash board wont work due to the valet security feature (to switch it off u have to get into trunk)
  • the back seat has no latch and is tightly bolted (the only way you can release it is through trunk)
  • there is no spare key (ofcourse!)

we tried putting a stick with a magnet through the small gap between the seat but its too small and not a very powerful magnet.

the mechanic said he would charge us 300$ and locksmith wants to charge us 200$. so we are looking for suggestions. anyone tried jiggler keys or slimjim for trunk? we are looking for a cheaper alternative. any ideas!

Wow, no trunk release somewhere in the cabin (door panel, center console, etc.). Might be cheaper to call a locksmith.

I may still have it somewhere a telescoping rod at the end is like 5 claws. When you push or press in the handle the claws open to latch onto something and you just drag it. If it is short just duck tape some stick to make it longer. Auto parts store have it probably under $10.

A dealer can cut a new key with the vin #. It shouldn't cost much more than $20.00

Exclamation This very this happened to me, please help

So I locked my keys in my trunk, then of course I have the same issue as you the but the button has never worked ever since I’ve bought it used. Also while texting how I can fix this problem I drop my phone faces down and the led is broken and the screen won’t stay lit up enough to see anything.
I’m currently using my daughters iPad so I am definitely under stress
Please help me
