When you clean you also should take the piece(electronic )out of the maf housing so no spray will get in to the IAC valve .
Leave battery disconnected for half an hour or more I think your computer is in safe mode by now!

Okay I unhooked the battery for a little over 30 mins. then I reattached it and the car started great! That lasted .7 of a mile. :( I was at a stop light and it was idling but started getting really rough, so much so that my side mirrors were vibrating. the check engine soon light came back and it wouldnt go. I had to restart it. It started fairly quickly the first 3 times but in the end its taken me 2 hours to get 45 miles. The last few times it took a long long time to start and then I had to restart it like 20+ times until I got the right one and it would drive. the light is now back, the problem isnt gone. The idea that this problem will still exist when we get snow is really starting to worry me. What should I try next? Thanks.

I did replace the crank sensor, and the code has gone away,we reset it and that never has come back. Its just showing the 1122 code now.

If I could afford to take it to the dealer I'd have done that long ago and never been here. :(

Hi john!
The first code you got is Only for GMC cars ,Nissan got other information for it.
The second code you got PO122 not PO1122.
Read my previous respond!
She need somebody to look at the car -NOT JUST CHANGE PARTS!
TPS for sentra 2004 is build in to the throttle body (DTC 2135)

Today I took my car to a mechanic. He scanned the code said 1122 and then he troubleshot it and it says throttle body. Or a part within the tb. The code apparently makes it go into fail safe. Thats why I can't drive after the code shows up. I'm getting the part tonight. Installing tomorrow. Hopefully this will fix the issue.

it's about $140 on the internet! (disconnect battery first before you replace it)
You need the gasket too.
Then you need to do about 3 learning to set ideal, pedal and etc.
Good luck!

One more thing is to check the 2 ground wires back of your motor ,The TB might not get the proper voltage!!?

Okay update -

I replaced the throttle body. I looked inside it and saw it was coated in black stuff and you could see where the moving door thingy had scrapped the black off so it was clean just where the door touched the inside metal on the bottom. I asked if he thought it could just be dirty, but he said nah. At this point I was more in the mood to just replace it fully rather than troubleshoot the part itself. So far ive gone 205.8 miles and no issues. still doesnt start super fast but thats it.

How many miles do I wait until I believe we have fixed it, thats my problem. Im still afraid of my car.

Thank you all for the great help!

He did do some type of relearn thing but he thought it was dumb.

Good news!!!!!
Any time you clean or replace the throttle body you have to do an Idle Relearn or you will get the P0506 and/or P0507 ISC control code.
SO FAR SO GOOD!
