Default Vehicle Speed Sensor location

I was wondering if someone could give me a detailed location where it is located on the transmission of a 1997 Nissan Sentra. ex on the bottom, top, left, right. If you could supply a detailed picture that would be great too. Thanks so much.

It's locate right where the CV axles connect to the transmission (auto). First thing you have to do when removing it is unplug the wires from it (they clip-on). (10mm bolt -and it's out)
There was a TSB on some screw getting lose (wires problem) might solve it for you?

On Nissan models the "Speed Sensor" it's called "Revolution Sensor". Why are you replacing the sensor?

Here is an image from the service manual:

Because my car won't pass smog per codes P0500 and P0505. So we were told to replace the VSS and Idle Air Control System. Unless you have any other suggestions to try first. Thanks for replying

You most likely correct! (over 10 year old car)
There are a bunch of TSB about the codes (search on google)like screw getting loose! And much more!
Code 505 is iac control -motor likely defective.

Had a diagnostic done on my car and they say both the vss and idle air control valve are bad and need to be replaced. And there's a possibility that the driver in the computer is also bad.
