Problem with AC not working help
My mother in law has an 07 sentra the ac is blowing hot air.
checked the freon and pressures are good checked ac clutch relay fuse the problem is that the relays are not able to be changed which is part of the under hood fuse panel. is there any way to check to see if it is the relay that is not working or bypassing it thanks Last edited by mymeatb18; 08-14-2011 at 01:13 PM. |

Had a similar issue, ac place said everything looked good, problem was actually the cable that's attached to the thermostat on the ac panel had come off, to check, move the thermostat from cold to hot and try to listen for the diverter door moving inside the dash.

Auto Active Test EKS00BN6 DESCRIPTION In auto active test mode, operation inspection can be performed when IPDM E/R sends a drive signal to the following systems: – Rear window defogger – Front wipers – Tail and parking lamps – Front fog lamps – Headlamps (Hi, Lo) – A/C compressor (magnet clutch) – Cooling fan OPERATION PROCEDURE 1. Close hood and front door RH, and lift wiper arms away from windshield (to prevent glass damage by wiper operation). NOTE: When auto active test is performed with hood opened, sprinkle water on windshield beforehand. 2. Turn ignition switch OFF. 3. Turn ignition switch ON and, within 20 seconds, press front door switch LH 10 times. Then turn ignition switch OFF. 4. Turn ignition switch ON within 10 seconds after ignition switch OFF. 5. When auto active test mode is actuated, horn chirps once. 6. After a series of operations is repeated three times, auto active test is completed. NOTE: When auto active test mode has to be cancelled halfway, turn ignition switch OFF. CAUTION: Be sure to perform BL-91, "Door Switch Check" when the auto active test cannot be performed. ------------- You want to make sure you hear the cooling fans operate and the compressor clutch functions. You will hear the clutch make a clunk sound if it is working.

You'd have to open up the dash and look behind the a/c controls, not as complicated as it sounds

The 2007 Sentra does not have cables, just wires and actuators.

2011 ac problem
I have a 2011 Sentra I fixed that was wrecked in the front. Got it all back together and went to charge ac wouldn't take any. I unplugged pressure switch and plugged back in. The compressor came on and took freon. As soon as you give it any gas the clutch kicks out and you have to repeat by unplugging and plugging switch back up before it will come back on. I build wrecks all the time and have never run into this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Note compressor is new condensor is new and pressure switch is new from nissan

I have the same problem 2009/2010 rogue SV. I have already spent $500 on new parts including IPDM and compressor, have you found a solution?
