Default Speedometer stops working !!!

Dear Nissan,
On my 3 week old car the speedometer stops working on a regular basis when in the mileage display. For example it stops on 22.8 while driving for another 30 minutes on different terrain. Only re-setting it will bring it back online. Annoying as we would love to be able to use it to calculate mileage for each tank of gas.

p.s. LOVE everything else about this car !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

please advise.

What do you mean when you say it stops at 22.8. Are you sure it is the speedometer. You may be looking at the average speed on the info display. The digital readout does not display the actual speed. It is the average spped the vehicle has gone since the last reset.

I think you need to refer to your owners manual and start reading . Be sure to look at the pictures as well , it doesn't sound like you know what a nissan speedometer looks like.

deeznuts,
agreed, the usermanul is super. Just take a look at page 73 or Instruments and controls 2-7 and you will see a great explanation of average fuel consumption which is available if you purchased that premium package. That is what i am referring to. It is an issue which has cropped up in MANY OTHER ROGUE FORUMS on the net.
Keep in my I LOVE MY ROUGE (made my neighbor come home with one last week !!!) but just want this to be fixed.

You have to reset that at each new fill up, that is how the system works. Otherwise what would be the point of the number displayed, if it did not represent a single tank full. The results would be skewed if they were based off of multiple tanks.
