Default How to disable auto-braking

I put a bike rack on the back of my 2019 Rogue SL and as a result the car will not let me reverse because it thinks something is behind me.

There is a setting to turn it off, but it re-enables every time I start the engine.

Does anyone know a way to disable auto-braking (AEB) permanently?

Thanks!

Chris

I don't think you can disable it permanently. You just have to disable it every time you start the car.

I ended up building a bypass circuit that'll cut power to the two rear center sensors anytime a hitch is detected. It's a pretty hacky work-around to an obvious design flaw, but it got the job done. If anyone wants details you can post to this thread and I'll send you my design.
