Possible to use Nissan Rogue rims? So close, yet so far
CX 5 has the following OEM wheel specs:
17" x 7" 67.1mm center bore M12 x 1.5 threads 50mm offset The Rogue is aaaaaalmost identical. I can get a set of Rogue wheels for dirt cheap to use for winter tires. The Rogue threads are M12 x 1.25, but I don't think that's an issue - just use my Mazda lug nuts. Offset is 38mm - again, I don't think it's an issue, they'll just stick out an extra 12mm from the body panels. I'll be mounting 225/65r17 Blizzaks. But the center bore on the Nissan wheels is 66.1mm. One dang millimeter smaller. Any idea if it will fit on a Mazda hub? Or is there a DIY option? I can't think of anything that I could do myself that would ensure a perfectly concentric center bore, other than taking it to a machine shop. But that would probably cost me more than buying a set of brand new OEM alloys direct from the dealer. Thoughts? |
