Default Driver's side sliding door lock - locks, but will not unlock.

Hi folks!

I just had the battery replaced in our 2012 Nissan Quest 2 days ago, and I didn't realize it until this morning, but... like the title says, the driver's side sliding door will lock, but not unlock electronically.

I have tried the FOB and both door lock switches (driver side, passenger side)... all other doors work except this one. It will actually LOCK electronically, but will not unlock. It doesn't even feel like it's attempting to.

I can manually lock & unlock it, but power lock (unlocking) appears to be malfunctioning.

Any ideas on where to start? About to go check the fuses... we've never had this issue before. After the battery was replaced, I did have to reprogram the windows "auto-up" feature. That works now.

Default Sliding door not unlocking after battery replacement - me too!

I have exactly the same problem. Did you ever find a solution? I don't see any replies to your message.

Default

Ended up taking it to a local reputable mechanic. Had electrical issues resulting from the battery cables being reversed... simple stuff, apparently popped some fuses, etc.

They found the issue pretty quick & fixed it cheap.
