Default 04 Quest Fault code P1065

Hello. A young single mother of 4 kids just purchases a fully loaded 2004 Nissan Quest SE van for $2900 only to find out it has a few issues, so I'm trying to help her out before she dumps a lot of money into it after what I think was a rip-off.
I drove it up to a local auto parts store "Autozone" and they ran a diagnostic on it giving only 1 fault code, P1065. I'm trying to figure out what is meant by the ECM supply heater as well as figure out the steps I should take before replacing the ECM. I've checked as many grounds as I could find in the engine bay. The van runs fine but the transmission is shifting hard as well as once it heats up it takes off very slow. I don't know if these two issues are related.
The dealer wants $715 for the ECM plus $150 to program it to the vehicle. Not to mention whatever they'd charge for the initial diagnostic. If replacing the ECM don't fix the transmission issues then that another large ticket item. I have seen online where the shift issue can be solenoids in the transmission on the valve body requiring a shift kit job being done.

1. I highly doubt the issue is the ECM since car runs fine according to you.

2. IDK the mileage but try swap the A/T fluid and it just might correct the shifting issue no guaranty but I think cost efficient at this time.

Here's the diagnostic sheet for the P1065: https://www.engine-codes.com/p1065_nissan.html

Take a look at post #2. this may give you some insight into the issue. https://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/sho...help-624.html?

Good luck.
