Heater pump
2004 nissan quest 3.5 SL. I have a heater pump coolant leaking.
Can I try to disassemble and clean this pump? I think it just contaminated. I would like to know if someone has an experience. |

There no many info about this heater pump in service manuals. I found this Bosch 0392020024 Electric Water Pump (exactly the same look and in- out- lets 12V).
Looks like it's Bosch universal pump for many brands and models. Try to find good price. Hope this info will be helpful. Last edited by vladimir.bovcus; 09-02-2014 at 12:54 PM. |

Looks like it has screws, so you might be able to reseal the housing with some RTV. If I was going to replace it, I would just get one from Nissan.

I've got the same problem
We're you able to resolve this? I saw a YouTube video that shows removal of the cowl to get to the clips that hold the pump in place. Wondering if the rtv trick worked.
