Default 04 Quest newbie checking in

Hello all,

Just recently purchased a 04 quest with almost all of the common issues. I had the chain issue fixed, but I still have the dash display, blower resistor, motor mounts, shocks, brakes, cabin air filter, leaking radiator, power door issues. It also had the back up sensors removed, bondo, and painted over the bumper. Any tips or pointer on the following and anything else you may think of please let me know. I am a bit of a handy man. I also like to now of any ways to increase the fuel mileage if possible . Thanks.

Another rookie here as I just picked up a loaded '04 Quest SE. I was a two-time VW Eurovan owner, so trust me everyone...your problems are minor compared to trying to get a Eurovan serviced. Oh... that timing chain job? It's $4K+ at a VW dealer for an EV. Transmissions? $5.5K+. These problems with a Quest are almost a relief for me...at least any shop will work on them...

I just did all the fluids, belts, hoses, and thermostat. Mine - being in Atlanta - is a little different. This one (white) literally looks brand new. 100K miles and it has the orig. trans and has no timing chain noise. Everything works (knock on wood). My first mileage check was 19.4 in all around driving (I can live with that) on 87 octane. I have the dreaded plugged sunroof drain (drivers side) - haven't tore into it yet. Anyone popped the front of the headliner yet and traced the hose?
