Default Getting a P0021 - B2 A Cam Position Timiming System Perform after replace of CS sensr

I just replaced 2 cam shaft sensors and the check engine light is back on. Had a friend read it today and we got a:
P0021 - B2 A-Cam Position timming System Perform

Any ideas on what might be causing this? thanks again, this forum is awesome

Actually the P0021 code is for the valves and not the sensor.

OBDII Code P0021 NISSAN - Intake Valve Timing Control Performance Bank 2 | Engine-Codes.com

When was the last time you change the oil? what oil weight are you using?

Sometimes dirty oil can get inside and clogged the valve passages. You could try removing and cleaning the valve, not always work but is worth trying.

For the P0021 Bank 2, the valve is on the top-drivers side of the engine. See attached image (Not the actual colors)

ok got the oil changed and also cleared the code several times. but I am still getting P0021. Please give me some help on this. Whats the next step? You mentioned cleaning the valve. is the valve part of the sensor we replaced. I am just trying to figure out where is this valve. In the image you posted it seems to be as part of the sensor.

2 Questions:
How do I clean this thing up? I took out the whole solenoid last weekend and pulled the sensor out. it had some oil on it. is there a spray I can use to clean it up. I wanted to use dw40 but just want to make sure.

And also. the valve in the picture was not on the drivers side but on the passengers side. I couldnt find anything on the drivers side that looked like that. can you please help

Anything that has an electronic connection, I use spray designed for electronics. I'm pretty sure you can pick that up at any auto part store possibly any department store.

ok tried the electrical cleaner. but that didnt work either.
This weekend I will take that thing out again and clean the valves. What spray should I use here? Would a break cleaner or a carburator cleaner work?
