2007 Altima 2.5S: TPMS relearn issue
Looks like batteries died in original sensors, so we were driving with TPMS light on for a year or so, waiting for tires to be replaced to replace the sensors in the same time.
Replaced sensors with "compatible" type, not OEM. Now, here is the trouble. I know of the "find a single white wire next to OBD port, short it to ground 5-6 times, get TPMS indicator flashing..." method, but it does not work in my case for some reason. Where other people on Youtube have a solid TPMS light upon turning up ignition, mine starts flashing right away, so even if I short this wire to the ground, it makes no difference. Anything I miss here? Anybody had luck following "short the wire..." method? |
