Opininion on When to Replace Timing Belt

My Frontier CC just turned 69,000 BUT, she is 15 years old (bought in late 2000). The owners manual suggests timing belt replacement @105K. I think that maybe I should do it sooner. Opinions please. And thank you.

It should be replaced every 105,000 miles or 6 years, whichever comes first. If it's 15 years old, I would replace it. I usually get the Gates Timing Belt Component Kit with Water pump from Rockauto.com, along with new Nissan or Bando drive belts, Nissan thermostat and Nissan front crank and cam seals.

smj- Thanks for your reply. Question though. Why Nissan thermostat and seals? Why not fel-pro or other mfg?

Definitely rockauto for the TB kit. Local stores want $100 for it.
