Cube alignment
My 2010 cube rear end is out of alignment, right wheel toe and camber. The Nissan fix is to replace the nonadjustable beam. Because this, according to Nissan, is an alignment issue it is not covered by warranty, the cost to me for a replacement beam is $1000.
I believe the beam is a nonadjustable part, with a manufacturing defect and should be replaced. The dealer initially offered two options, shim the wheel with an aftermarket part for $300, replace the axle for $1000, both at my expense. After I contacted Nissan customer relations, they had the dealer contact me schedule an attempt to correct the problem by loosening the undercarriage and shifting it, with no commitment to replacement of the beam if shifting was not successful. I do not believe this will fiix the beams misalignment and I am stuck with it.????
