2011 Altima deck install questions

2 Attachment(s)
I am having a bit of a hang-up with my stereo install...its a 2001 sedan 2.5 without the radio (has everything else from the 2.5s but about two grand less).

What is the three wires with the grey insulation for? Are those the antenna wires? (the wires in the picture, furthest to the right)

Are all wiring harnesses the same? When I was younger different brand decks needed different adapters.

How do I remove that little storage area underneath the a/c controls (I lost two of the screws down there).

Is there a reason why the aftermarket radio wont just screw to the metal frame holding the little plastic storage pocket things? I'm thinking that if I buy a wire adapter and antenna adapter I wont need anything else.

You may have to but an installation kit with brackets that attach to the frame.

I'm a car audio installer with 7 years experience,

Yes that three wired plug is the antenna " which is a amplified antenna "

Your going to need the dash kit , Harness, & Antenna Adapter

The dash kit you need transfers everything that you just removed with the brackets in the New kit that will hold the ac knobs and everything else.

The Part # is Metra 99-7423

good luck!

Wood Deck Services not only highlights the wood grain and improves its overall appearance, but it will also increase its lifespan by preventing rot and insect infestation.
