Circuit Breaker 1
Dear all,
I am trying to troubleshoot loss of keyless entry. Problem is the manual tells me to look for circuit breaker 1 after checking the fusible link. Any idea where that is? I haven't found it and can't find where the manual tells me where it is. Thanks, Luke:hmm: |

Circuit breakers are hard to find because are wrap with electrical tape along with the harness. Circuit breakers rarely go bad, in 15 working with Nissan, I have never replaced one. What is the problem with the keyless system?
I just know that the breaker is around the drivers side behind the dash. |
Keyless Entry
I am trying to figure out if my vehicle has the system or not. The dealer told me that their records showed it should, but I am unable to get to the programing state.
I have tried the directions several times, but don't get the hazards to blink. I have not purchased a new remote. The person I bought the car from did not have any. I want to confirm the car has the installed equipment and it works before spending any money on the remotes. I was going through the troubleshooting steps and it said to check the circuit breaker. Since you say that the failure is so uncommon I will assume good and move the next step. That will allows me try some of the other steps and see what voltages I get. Luke |
Make sure all the doors are closed when you try go into the programming mode. Also the security light should be OFF, not blinking or solid ON.
