Rule of thumb - make sure it doesn't squeak ;)

Default super easy

I found the diagram and the docs on how to replace the belts. I did it last week and it is very very easy. The main thing is to only buy an OEM belt. THe tensioner on my 2006 path could be moved down with just my hand. I tried to attach a pdf for the service manual but this site wouldnt allow it. THe belt at my local Nissan Dealer was 21 dollars and change. You have to remove the air resistor(the air duct that is on top and behind the fan. From this site go to the Do-it-yourself link and download the EM manual under 2006 pathfinder

Default Thanks, very helpful

thumper300zx, your comments and pics were very helpful. My belts look nothing like what the pic you provided so all I did was tighten until they don't squeak ... bingo. thanks.
