Default Over Heating

Not the fan, Not the thermostat, Not the fluid level and not the belt. Any way I have a 2005 Pathfinder. I have never seen it overheat. It caught me off guard when it did. I have had problems ever since. I don't have any leaks, there is fluid in the radiator and the overflow. I run it and the temp gauge appears normal but the engine overheats and starts to blow out of the overflow. Does anybody know why this is happening?

Possibly the radiator is clogged or restricted...possibly the head gasket has failed...make sure the reservoir cap and the radiator cap did not get accidentally swapped. There should be a spring and plunger on the bottom of the coolant reservoir cap, but not on the radiator cap.

Were you able to root cause and resolve the overheating issue?
Your issue could be
a) weak water pump ($$$) , since the other major components of the cooling system seem ok
b) bad coolant temperature sensor ($)
