Default 06 pathfinder acts like there is no battery.

I went to crank my pathfinder this morning. It was the first time in a while and when I turned the key, absolutely nothing happened. so I thought the battery was completely dead.
I picked up a new battery and replaced the old one. As soon as I connected it I heard the typical sounds which you might hear from power going back into the vehicle. I go around and open the door and there is no ding. I put in the key, nothing, I turned the key and nothing... minus the fact that there is a blinking red key in the dash cluster. (I know this is usually meaning that the immoblizer is engaged. But I should still have use of other electronics) It acts like there is no battery. No lights, locks, horn... nothing. Can anyone tell me where to start. I know the battery is good and that it’s connected properly.

I don’t have a fuse tester, however all fuses visually look to be ok.

Have you had it checked? What was causing the issue?

Maybe the starter is the issue.
