Have 3 TSB issues to get fixed, go to dealership?
I have a 2003 Pathfinder LE 2WD that I am planning on selling in the next couple of months and I have 3 issues that I need to get fixed before I put it up for sale. I believe all 3 have TSBs related to them.
1. Driver's seat will not go forward or backward - bad seat motor 2. Loud noise/exhaust leak - cracked tube 3. AC fan only works intermittently, about 20% of the time Anyway, since these all likely have TSBs related to them is there an advantage taking them to a dealership as opposed to my regular mechanic? My past experience with service depts has been rude, unfriendly, and trying to screw me as much as possible. I am going to be selling the car so I would like to keep the cost down as much as possible. Thanks in advance. |

For the seat problem, if you are going to sell the truck try tapping on the seat motor with a hammer. It will be the one closest to the front of the seat. That usually gets it working for a while. For the exhaust noise there is an inexpensive repair kit. If you have a good mechanic they should be able to handle the repairs.
