Default Replaced IPDM and still having issues

I replaced the IPDM in our 2008 Pathfinder and the first try it started up. I turned the vehicle off slid the IPDM back in its slot, put the cover on, closed the hood and went to test drive it... it won't start.

I pulled the IPDM back out made sure all the connections were secure, no luck.

The Pathfinder had been sitting for a while waiting on the IPDM to come USPS so I charged the battery, no luck.

Any ideas.

What was the original problem that caused you to suspect the IPDM? Were and/or are there any stored trouble codes (not just "P" codes, but "B" and "C" codes, as well, which require a capable scan tool to access)? Have you made sure the battery cable connections are clean and tight (you should not be able to turn them on the posts by hand), because they can cause a lot of problems? Are there any issues with the digital gear indicator operation on the instrument cluster (i.e. no display)?
