Knocking and Hard Downshift
Rapid acceleration to 50 - 60 MPH is fine, like from a stop light. If I am maintaining speeds, there is a slight hesitation...almost like the car is gasping for air/choking. This does not happen 100% of the time.
If I am maintaining a lower speed, 20 - 30 MPH, at slightly press and release the gas pedal, there is a knock/hesitation. This does not happen at higher speeds. As I am slowing down, there is an unusual downshift. It is not a hard knock, but I do notice the RPMs change and it is not a smooth transition. The Check Engine Light is not on. Vehicle has 220,000 miles. Recent Work: New cat convertors, new coils and plugs, idle sensor updated (via computer at Nissan), new 02 rear sensors (front ones have not been replaced). Thoughts?
