The TCM is located behind the right side, rear, interior finisher...above the front side hump of the right-rear wheel well. Once you remove the interior panel, you should be able to see it. It's a rectangular box with mounting brackets. There are several different TCM's available, so you need to make sure you get the right part number. Specifics such as 2WD vs. 4x4 and tire size are some of the reasons for the variation of modules. That said, I can't say for sure if the TCM is your problem or not. More diagnostics would need to be performed in order to determine that; a factory service manual for your year Pathfinder would help pinpoint the cause of the problem. New TCM's from Nissan have long been discontinued. I'm not sure if there are aftermarket options, so I would check Rockauto.com. Otherwise, used units from salvage yards or finding a place to repair yours (if it is bad) would be your other options. I would check with Circuit Board Medics to see if they work on them.
