2000 Nissan Pathfinder Stalls, buts starts up fine.
I just got a 2000 Pathfinder. It was having issues with idle stalling when at stoplights, so I tested the MAF. Looked good voltage wise, so went thru and checked the wireing harness. Now it reliably will stall after a start within 10 sec if it drops below 1000 RPMS every...single...time. Anyone have an idea of what I broke or reset?
Thanks for your time. |

It will always start right back up, but will always stall if the rpms get low.

It "could be" simply an improperly adjusted base idle speed or faulty IACV-AAC valve. Adjust base idle and ignition timing per the factory service manual procedure. If the idle doesn't change when adjusting the screw on the IACV-AAC valve, replace the valve.
