Default Parking lights and key alarm on ignition dead

My 1996 pathfinder SE MT survived Hurricane Maria and the collapse of the garage around but now will not start. After removing debris and clearing downed trees, she started right up and made two trips to the port to get generator. On returning, I noticed that the parking lights, brake lights were on and could not be turned off. Then the key alarm came on and would not go off even when the key was removed. I started the car to move it into the drive and disconnected the battery to turn off the lights and alarm. The next day when I reconnected the battery, the ignition was dead. I charged the battery to full and still the parking lights and key alarm come on and the ignition is dead. All other electrical systems tested are working: power windows, wipers, radio, horn, AC and fan, warning flashers, locks, dash lights and gauges. I have checked the 10 amp ignition fuse and it seems intact. STRANDED IN THE MOUNTAINS OF DOMINICA

CORRECTION. Ignition problem was solved. It was the switch on the clutch which disables the ignition if the clutch pedal is not depressed when starting the engine. Now it is just the parking lights, key alarm, and brake lights which can not be turned off

Check for broken plastic/rubber stop pad on the brake pedal lever; if this breaks, causes the brake lights to be always on. Fix can be to epoxy a penny to cover the hole.
