Default 2013 Pathfinder fan stuck on high, no defog, no steering heat

Hello everyone.
This morning when I started my Pathfinder SV the fan (blower) just went on full blast without the ability to stop it. I can't change the speed or the mode of how the air comes out. I also lost the ability to turn on the rear defog and heated steering wheel option. Basically all these options are inactive.

I read several threads on replacing the fan control amp however I wonder if due to the other issues they are all part of the same problem? Also, is the control amp located behind the glove box on this model as it was in older models?

thanks in advance for your assistance!

Checked fuses (under steering wheel) and they were fine.

Warranty from what I understand covers up to 60,000 kms (Canada) which i have surpassed.

A faulty blower amp would cause the blower fan to operate at highest speed at all times, but wouldn't have anything to do with the heated steering wheel or defogger; those items are all controlled, however, by the BCM (Body Control Module). It could be separate issues or all related...and one won't know unless the proper diagnostic steps in the factory service manual and equipment (capable scan tool, multi-meter) are used to isolate the problem. That said, I would take a look through the technical service bulletins in the "knowledge base" section, first, to see if anything applies to your problem.

Default FIXED

In case anyone ever has the same issue I solved the problem and wanted to share.

I replaced the fan amp controller and it did the trick. Purchased it online for $50.

The symptoms were that the fan was stuck on high at all times, defog was disabled, heated steering disabled and the temperature wasn't reading on the dash anymore.

Once the parts were swapped everything went back to normal.

I have the same issue as described with my 2008 Pathfinder. Unfortunately the problem persisted even after I put in a new Variable Blower Control.

Any Ideas?

Never had that problem. Check if disconnecting the Variable Blower Control the blower motor stays ON, if it does, then you may have a short circuit or faulty blower motor, if it does turn OFF, then the problem is the new Variable Blower Control.

Thanks to pooch11 for the help in getting this problem fixed. I had the same problem. I replaced part number 27760-3KA3A. This part is listed as an AC auto amp or I have seen it listed as climate control module and a few other names. Nissan Parts - Home had it for $180 but you can but a used one much cheaper.

I have a 2014 pathfinder. Same issue, the fan or blower was stuck on high. Crazy to me that this part went and I only have 63K km on the vehicle. Plus there was some AC module that was fixed a while back under warranty.

Thanks again to Pooch11 for all of your help.

Cheers
