Default Help me find the right part - Camsensor Bank 1

Hi everyone,

So my Pathfinder stalled on the road the other day, and I talked my husband's work into scanning the error code. I figured it was the camsensor and sure enough it popped out error code p0340 Cam bank 1 .

I want to replace it on my own, but I am unsure of which part I need.

I figured here is where I would like to buy the part -
05 2005 Nissan Pathfinder Camshaft Position Sensor - Engine Mechanical - Beck Arnley, Delphi, Dorman, Hitachi, Replacement, Standard Motor Products, Walker, Left, Right - PartsGeek

My Pathfinder is a 2005 SE Off-road 4wd model.. But I am assuming that the part works for all 2005 Pathfinders.

I've found videos and what not to replace bank 2, but not bank 1. Are they the same part? Or do I need a straight one? I know bank 2 is slightly angled.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!

Bank 1 cam sensor is located on the back of the right bank (or passenger side in North America) cylinder head. It's a bit of a pain to get to it. It'll be have a single, 10MM head bolt holding it in. I recommend sticking with genuine Nissan parts as aftermarkets have been problematic. Of the parts shown where you are shopping, I would go with the Hitachi if you insist on going the aftermarket route. Hitachi is the OE supplier of the sensor to Nissan, so it should be of the same quality.

Bank 1 is on the right side, passenger side. It is located on the rear of the head. It is the sensor with the straight connector. The connector is kind of tricky to release.
