Default 2006 Thorttle body cleaning

I cleaned lots of gunk off of the TB. Lots of gunk.
Being electronic throttle, I didn't want to move the throttle plate.
There is now a gap between the plate and body. I almost sure there shouldn't be any gap.
How would I get it to close all the way?????
How can I move the plate to clean the rest of the gunk off????

you will need to reset the ECU (disconnect the battery is the fastest way 30 min or so)
and you will need to do an idle air relearn.

Does throttle body affect the gas mileage? I filled by gas tank and reset my trip to see how many miles on a tank. My trip for a tank of gas registered at 154.8.

Murano:
Full Tank Capacity: 21 Gal. MPG: 17/23 combined 19. A full tank if you really empty it would yield 399 miles based on Combined mileage. According to you, you only got 154 miles which means your MPG was only 8.10 MPG (154/19), iMPOSSIBLE Or you have a leaky tank.. Redo your experiment again. A gunk up TB might somewhat affect mpg 1-2 mpg. What is noticeable is engine performance such as acceleration, loss of power, rough idle as air is blocked.

Maintenance: Air Filter is inexpensive (you can buy ahead of time when on Sale), replace it regularly even if it looks clean. I replace mine every 6 mos. It also keep your MAF clean and last longer. My MAF is still OEM but I did clean it with MAF cleaner at 80k miles.
