Nissan Recalls
I have a 2015 Pathfinder that I purchased on 05/26/2015. There are three recalls on this vehicle. Two for air bags with a recall date of 10/20/2015 and one from 01/14/2015 for the front wheel hub assembly fasteners that may have not been properly torqued. What the heck is going on? Nissan has not bothered to send me anything on these recalls. What should I do with nothing from Nissan about these recalls?

contact your dealer with your VIN, and make an appointment for the repairs
you don't need anything from Nissan, but might want to check with them to be sure they have your correct contact information |

Recalls
Thanks for the reply. I checked with nissan earlier and the recalls are vin specific. Luckily the 3 from last year did not include my car and he said that if the recall just announced was for my car, then I would receive a notice. Again thanks for the reply.

Another thing to note is that when a recall is initially announced, it usually takes a while before it gets to the point where vehicles start getting repaired. The manufacturer has to develop a bulletin for the repair, which has to be developed by engineers, then written, then approved by the legal department or sent back to be corrected or adjusted. They also have to manufacture enough parts for the specific recall, if any or needed, and ship them to the dealers so they have sufficient quantities to perform the initial appointments for vehicles to get repaired under the recall.
